The two sections at the front are taken much lighter than the rest, making them the brightest thing on the head. They run from the hairline down past the cheek and stay visible when the hair is tied back, since the color starts at the part rather than partway down. Everything behind stays dark, and that untouched depth is what makes the contrast register. Those front pieces absorb the most lift and the most damage.

  • Undertonewarm, neutral. A golden blonde against a dark brown base is a deliberate contrast rather than a match, and the warmth in it stops the pieces reading gray next to warm or deep skin.
  • Starting pointOnly two small sections are lifted, so a dark base can carry it, but taking those pieces from that depth to a genuine bright blonde usually needs more than one round of lightener.
  • UpkeepRegrowth shows at around five or six weeks because it sits directly at the part, toner every six to eight, and those pieces need the most repair work.

Try it before the bleach

Color is the expensive mistake to get wrong. Put Blonde Money Piece against your own skin tone first.
