Blonde + Dark Roots

Both renders are HairGlam output. In the app the shade lands on your photo instead.
The root is shadowed on purpose, taken from a dark brown and diffused into the blonde across roughly two to three inches so there is no line to find. The blonde itself sits on the warm side, closer to honey than platinum, which keeps the contrast with the root believable. In flat indoor light it reads as depth at the scalp; in sunlight the ends look considerably lighter than the top.
- Undertonewarm, neutral. The blonde carries clear gold while the root is a neutral dark, so the pairing sits most naturally against skin with a golden or peach cast.
- Starting pointThe lengths need lifting to roughly a level nine before the blonde tone goes on, and the root is either your own depth left alone or a dark shade put back in.
- UpkeepBecause regrowth is meant to blend, retouches stretch to twelve or sixteen weeks, with a gloss on the mid lengths every six to eight to keep the blonde off brass.
