The woven pieces sit three to four levels above the brown base, so daylight picks them out as separate strands while indoor light blends the whole thing into one warmer brown. The lift is spread across the head rather than concentrated anywhere, which is why it reads as brightness instead of as a pattern. Because each piece is thin, regrowth arrives as a soft shadow at the root. Lifted ends roughen first.

  • Undertonewarm, neutral. The golden end of blonde over a warm brown base keeps the overall depth medium, which sits comfortably against olive and warm complexions and against deeper skin without going ashy.
  • Starting pointEach woven section has to be lifted inside a foil, so a dark brown base needs bleach and often a second session to clear the orange stage before it holds a clean gold.
  • UpkeepA gloss at eight to ten week intervals keeps the yellow in check, the fine weave means regrowth is forgiving, and the lightened strands need a bond or protein treatment.

Try it before the bleach

Color is the expensive mistake to get wrong. Put Blonde Highlights against your own skin tone first.
