Blonde Ombré

A deep brown root melting through the mid lengths into golden blonde ends, with the transition sitting below the ear.

The gradient does most of its work in the bottom two thirds, so from the front you see brown at the part and a clear blonde payoff from the collarbone down. In flat light the ends read honey; in sun the gold turns brassier while the root stays matte by comparison. Fade shows at the ends first, warming toward orange as the toner washes out. The root grows out invisibly, which is the point.

  • Undertonewarm, neutral. The golden end tone sits with warm and olive skin without fighting it, and the brown root keeps enough depth that neutral complexions are not washed out.
  • Starting pointNatural brown to dark brown takes this with bleach on the ends only, while black hair needs two lifting sessions to push the ends past orange.
  • UpkeepA gloss on the ends every eight to ten weeks holds the gold, the root needs nothing, and bleached ends want a bond treatment and a weekly mask.

Try it before the bleach

Color is the expensive mistake to get wrong. Put Blonde Ombré against your own skin tone first.
