A single guard, usually somewhere between a one and a four, run everywhere with no blending required. Because nothing is graduated, the hair sits close to the skull and density reads honestly, so thin areas read as thin. It takes no product and no drying time at all. Growing out is painless since the length stays even, and most people find their number by moving one guard in either direction.
- Suitsoval, square face shapes. An even guard follows the skull exactly, so the widest point of the head stays wherever your bone structure puts it and a strong jaw is on show by choice.
- Hair typestraight, wavy, coily, medium density, thick. Any texture buzzes down cleanly, though coarse or coily hair looks denser at the same guard than fine straight hair does.
- UpkeepEvery two to three weeks to keep the length honest, with no daily styling beyond towel-drying your head.
