Two pigments are doing the work here and they do not leave together: the blue drops out ahead of the green, so the ends turn progressively minty before they settle pale. It is among the most visible dips on camera because the tone sits so far from anything hair does naturally. Direct sun makes it look close to fluorescent, while indoor light pulls it back to a quieter teal.
