A violet purple half faces an emerald green half across a clean center part, two saturated cool colors with no gradient between them.

Both halves are deep, saturated cool tones rather than pastels, so the split reads as two blocks of jewel color instead of one bright side and one muted one. Green pigment grips the hair more stubbornly than most vivids and is harder to remove later, while the violet fades a little faster and drifts toward mauve first. In daylight the blue in both colors comes forward and the split can look almost monochrome from a distance; indoors the red inside the violet and the yellow inside the green both separate out more clearly.
- Undertonecool. Both halves sit cool, which keeps the pairing clean against pink-toned and neutral skin, and the saturation of both colors reads strongly against deeper complexions.
- Starting pointBoth sides need lifting to a pale yellow base, around level eight, before either vivid will show true, so this comes from a full bleach service on any hair darker than light blonde.
- UpkeepExpect the violet to fade to mauve within 4 to 6 weeks while the green holds longer, often 8 weeks or more, so refresh the two sides on separate schedules.
