Silver + Black Split Dye
A cool metallic silver half meets a jet black half across a clean center part, with no blending between them.

The silver side needs the hair lifted almost to white and then toned to remove every trace of yellow, while the black side is the most opaque color there is and accepts no lift at all, so the two halves sit at completely opposite ends of the color process. That gap in depth is what keeps the line between them so sharp. The silver toner is fragile and washes out first, drifting that side toward a dull yellow-blonde while the black side stays exactly as dark as it started.
- Undertonecool, neutral. The cool silver and neutral-cool black both sit cleanest against pink-toned and neutral skin, and the density of the black keeps deeper skin from being overwhelmed by all that light silver.
- Starting pointThe black half goes on directly over any starting depth, while the silver half needs bleaching to a pale level ten, often across more than one session on dark hair.
- UpkeepTone the silver side every 3 to 4 weeks to hold off yellow, while the black half only needs a root touch-up as new growth shows.
