Both renders are HairGlam output. In the app the shade lands on your photo instead.

These two are not at the same depth: the blue is dark and saturated, the pink light and translucent, so the blue side visually dominates and the pink side looks airier. That imbalance is why the parting has to be dead straight, since any drift shows immediately. Blue is the most stubborn of the direct dyes and will stain the hair for months after you stop refreshing it, so choose which side gets it with that in mind.

  • Undertonecool. Both halves sit cool, which keeps them clean against pink-toned and neutral skin, and the density of the blue reads strongly on deep complexions.
  • Starting pointThe pink side needs lifting to about level nine or the pigment looks dirty; the blue grips at level seven, though it stays truer over a lighter base.
  • UpkeepExpect the pink to wash down within four to six weeks while the blue holds, so refresh the pink between full appointments and rinse both in cold water.

Try it before the bleach

Color is the expensive mistake to get wrong. Put Pink + Blue Split Dye against your own skin tone first.
