This one is built around a soft C bend rather than a straight line. Light graduation at the back builds body through the mid-lengths rather than height at the crown, the sides stay at chin length, and the ends are turned in so the perimeter curves toward the face instead of dropping flat. Holding that roundness takes a round brush and a few minutes of heat, or large Velcro rollers set while you do something else and dropped out cool.
- Suitsoval, heart, oblong face shapes. The body sits out at the side of the head and the ends turn in under the chin, which widens a long face through the middle and puts weight at the narrowest point of a heart outline.
- Hair typemedium density, thick, straight, wavy. It needs body to work: medium and thick hair holds the curve, while very fine hair drops out of the bend within a few hours unless it is set.
- UpkeepA trim every eight weeks, but expect a round brush or a roller set most days, because the shape is as much styling as cutting.
