There is no volume anywhere in this. The hair is combed straight back while wet with gel or a firm pomade, then left to set hard so the comb marks stay visible in the finish. Because nothing frames the face, the cut underneath matters less than the product and the comb. It holds for a full day, survives weather better than any blow-dry, and washes out in one go.
