Both renders are HairGlam output. In the app the shade lands on your photo instead.

This is the diluted end of the blue family and it behaves like every pastel: thin pigment on very light hair, wide contrast against the dark canopy, short life. In flat light the panel can look near-white with a cold cast, and only direct light brings the blue properly forward. Pastel blues fade to gray-blue and then to a slightly dirty silver, which is a softer landing than most vivids give you.

  • Undertonecool. Cold and pale, it sits best against fair to light-medium skin with pink or neutral undertones, where the frostiness matches rather than fights.
  • Starting pointPastel blue needs a level ten canvas, so on a dark base the panel is bleached out and toned white first, since any yellow left underneath turns it mint.
  • UpkeepAround six to ten washes per application, refreshed with pigment mixed into conditioner, plus a bond treatment because the hair underneath is heavily lifted.

Try it before the bleach

Color is the expensive mistake to get wrong. Put Icy Blue Peekaboo against your own skin tone first.
